Melinda has been highly successful in working with students who struggle with pitch accuracy - one of the largest hurdles for most voice teachers to correct. Many voice teachers will even turn away students with marked pitch issues, stating their voice is "untrainable."   Melinda is proficient at solving pitch issues through specifically developed  techniques and has witnessed  success with multiple students - the problem often being rectified in a single lesson.


Monthly Tuition:




Voice students can choose from two  study options:

  1. Certificate of Merit from the Music Teacher's Association of CA

  2. A personalized curriculum based on student's individual goals




​Personalized Curriculum includes:

  • Sight-singing 

  • Ear-training

  • Learning to sing harmony

  • Breathing/breath control

  • Specialized vocal tools/techniques

  • Warm-ups for the voice

  • Understanding the physiology of the vocal instrument 

  • Repertoire in various genres of music.

  • Exploration of vowels, consonants and articulation
  • Artistry and performance readiness

  • 45 minute lesson $225

  • 60 minute lesson $300

  • Consulting is billed at $80/hour

  • 4-5 weekly lessons/month

Certificate of Merit Students:

  • Students levels 1-6 must enroll for a  45 minute lesson . 

  • Levels 7-10 require a 60 minute lesson.
